Welcome to Overpowering Depression, a program developed by someone who understands the struggles of anxiety and depression firsthand. I’m Wesley Crews, and I spent my entire life battling severe hemophilia, and when I was 3 years old, I received a blood transfusion that was tainted with Hepatitis C and HIV. These health challenges exaggerated any normal amounts of depression and social anxiety I may have experienced, but eventually, I found a way to overcome the hopelessness and would like to share with you my personal journey. After years of dealing with these issues, I studied different religions, martial arts and meditation practices and discovered key elements that helped me overcome my mental health challenges. I am excited to share this program with you and hope it can help you as well.

This program is part of a freethinking approach where you are encouraged to question everything, including the ideas presented here. It takes resolve, concentration, and a willingness to work at it to achieve success.
If I were born in a world where the people were united, working together, and solving problems, I would have never created this program. I showed up in a world full of division, religious wars, and religious conflict. It’s a world where depression, anger, and anxiety are everywhere. I also became completely overwhelmed by them too. The people that loved me the most were powerless to help me. I know my family absolutely would have done anything and everything they could to help me get out of my depression, to stop all the anger I was feeling, and to allow me to overcome my anxiety.
I began first feeling signs of relief when I started using mind management skills. I was so impressed with the results, that I started discovering and learning more. I found myself within a happiness that I hadn’t felt in a long time. I knew then that everyone should know these skills.
I took the ideas I was angry about, and the ideas depressing me, and turned them inside out, turning them into opportunity. Instead of being angry about religious division, I asked myself how it should be. What would the solution look like? Eventually, I realized that we can all unite around religious freedom. I wondered what a ministry program that united people would look like.
I realized how powerful a program would be that included the mind management skills that have helped me so much. My passion about sharing this information was so strong that I made creating this program my top priority. I also added in some necessary basics and life perspective ideas.
I not only want to share this program with those that are suffering, but with everyone. I want to teach these tools to the world so everyone can help others. Helping others feels good, because love feels good. It is beneficial to our world. Helping others is a fountain of happiness in itself. That’s what I want from you. When you benefit from these skills, I want you to go and teach others. What you’re going to get is worth more than all the money in the world especially since money cannot even buy it.
